Random Acts of Love
We as a church are going to express God's love by providing random acts of kindness. We are going to jump into the community and show people that we care, that they're loved and that there is a God who wants to heal them. People may know that God loves them, but maybe they've never experienced it. By feeding the homeless, babysitting for a single mom, or helping out a neighbor we're truly affecting the world. We invite you to participate by using the Acts of Love cards available in the church foyer. When you're in a drive-thru pay for the person behind you - just ask the cashier to give them one of the AOL cards. By the time they get to the window you will be long gone and they will be anonymously blessed! When you're in a restaurant allow the Holy Spirit to draw you to a family and pay for their meal - just have your waitress give them one of the AOL cards - and watch as they look around to see who would have done such a thing!

Serving can be a way to start a conversation and open the door to share God’s love. When people start to see our genuine love for others, they can't help but be drawn to it. Here are some other ideas for you to help in your community:
- Pay for someone's groceries
- Bring Lunch/Snacks to Construction Workers.
- Have a "Free Grass-Cutting Day" for a neighbor/nursing home.
- Bring coffee to a local bus station.
- Pass out bottled water to your garbage men.
- Volunteer at the Community Hope Centers.
- Clean up trash at a local park.
- Bring flowers to nursing home residents/neighbors or widows.
- Give away free pencils, gum, coffee, or water on a college campus.
- Bring cookies or snacks to local state departments (fire/police, teachers/coaches).
- Help other local small churches with their yard work.
- Invite a neighbor to dinner.
- Bring coffee/energy drinks to a local hospital workers and staff.
- Offer free handy-man services to foster parents.
- Give 10-25 dollars worth of quarters at a laundry mat.
- Treat a single mom to a spa day and/or babysit for free.
- Bring food and sandwiches to the homeless.
- Volunteer at an after school tutor/sports program.
- Play board games with residents in a local nursing home.
- Leave a small thank you gift in your mailbox for your mail carrier.
- Help someone load their groceries.
- Surprise a friend with coffee.
